MAHATU JUNLGE HOUSE

Most Manaus tour agencies operate in areas near this large industrialized cit, where nature has been widely explored by humans, and tourist jungle camps are located sometimes just a few hundred meters from each other.

Far away from this mass jungle tourism, AMAZONASLIFE has created an alternative jungle house run by a native familiy, a few miles from Maues at the Rio Apocuitava between the indian communities Ponta Alegre and Sao Tome. Guest will experience the ¨REAL JUNGLE¨ with animals including jaguar spotting and joining natives on their hunting and fishing expeditions. Due to our good contacts with the Municipality, we can organize visits to indigenous communities in the area Parintins, Maues. Barreirinha and Itaituba.

The adventure expeditions are marketed by AMAZONRIDERS TOURS. CO, a leading Tour Operator registered by EMBRATUR (AM.1007903359/0001-18) with office in the Rey Arthur Hotel, Rua 10 de Julho 685, Centro, Manaus.
